I do LOVE Laura Wright! She always manages to get you hooked on the characters and the story!

"First Ink" was/is part of the "Wicked Firsts" Anthology Box set that includes some of my favorite authors. This was an auto buy for me! They are currently working on another box set called "Sinful Seconds" due out in March 2014.

Laura had been teasing readers for months on her FB Page with snippets and some, uhm, ahem visual aids. LOL From those snippets, I knew this would be an intriguing read. Laura does not disappoint. 

One thing I found interesting was how Laura formatted the book/story. There are no chapters. Instead the story is labeled "Addison" and "Rush" with each telling the story from their POV. This allows you to get to know the characters better and see things from their perspective. 

Determined to have the opportunity to apologies to Rush, Addison has a plan. Rush plans to continue to refuse her attempts. What occurs when they are face to face is the story you will read! 

You will fall for each of the characters for different reasons. Rush will pull at your heart and Addison's determination makes you root for her. Even the secondary characters grab your attention and makes you hope that Laura will share their stories as well! 

A quick read that will draw you into their world and you will not want to leave.
