Kelly from Books-n-Kisses and I are extremely excited to have Sylvain Reynard with us today!! I've read the books, but now, having listened to the samples for creating the post... Yeah, will be doing a re-read via audiobooks!
Recently, I had the pleasure of listening to the audio book of the Steve Jobs’ biography that was written by Walter Isaacson and read by Dylan Baker. It was a great book and the narrator did an excellent job.
When Berkley, my publisher, was preparing to produce the audio books of The Gabriel Series, I was fortunate enough to chose the narrator.
I listened to several different actors and actresses, some of whom I recognized, reading various texts. But the actor who stood out was John Michael Morgan. John Morgan has a background in theatre and has a remarkable talent for capturing the personality and nuances of each of the characters he vocalizes. He was perfect for The Professor and I have enjoyed listening to his performance on the audio books more than once.
So I was delighted that he was available to record the audio book for “The Raven,” as well. Once again, I think he did a remarkable job.
Some readers prefer audio books because of the convenience. Some readers are not able to read because of visual impairment or health related issues. In all these cases, I’m glad that audio books exist as a medium to communicate the variety of written words to a wider, inclusive audience.
I hope you enjoy it, as well.
All the best, SR.

About The Author
I’m interested in the way literature can help us explore aspects of the human condition – particularly suffering, sex, love, faith, and redemption. My favourite stories are those in which a character takes a journey, either a physical journey to a new and exciting place, or a personal journey in which he or she learns something about himself/herself.
I’m also interested in how aesthetic elements such as art, architecture, and music can be used to tell a story or to illuminate the traits of a particular character. In my writing, I combine all of these elements with the themes of redemption, forgiveness, and the transformative power of goodness.
I try to use my platform as an author to raise awareness about the following charities: Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation, WorldVision, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and Covenant House. For more information, see my Charities page.

ReplyDeleteI've listen to them all. Love SR's work and John Morgan did a excellent job
ReplyDeleteI loved the audio books because John Michael Morgan brings SR's brilliant work to life. I have lost count as to the number of times I have listened to them. I also cherish the paperback versions that were autographed. I also have the audio version of The Raven as well as an autographed copy in paperback.
