Candie's Review:

After a grueling day at a conference with her unexciting colleagues, college professor Myrna Evans spots her favorite band The Sinners drinking in the hotel bar. Eager to shake off her bad day, Myrna approaches the band and introduces herself. The Sinners (Sedric, Eric, Trey, Jace and Brian) cannot believe that the ultra conservative woman in a suit, not only recognizes them, but also knows all of their names. When they learn that Myrna is a professor of human sexuality, it’s game on to see which one of the band will get her attention. Little does everyone know, that Myrna has always had a big crush on Brian.  She surprises them all and invites Brian back to her room while saying good night.
Lead Guitarist Brian “Master” Sinclair has had one too many beers nursing a recent broken heart, but slowly starts to sober up upon meeting Myrna. He digs her immediately but doesn’t think that he stands a chance against lead singer, Sedric.

Chemistry ignites once they were alone. However, Brian’s drunken state has him passing out very quickly after a hot and heavy kiss.   In the morning, Myrna is woken to a very sober and very amorous Brian.  It doesn’t take long for them to get down and dirty. And when I say dirty…. Wow. They couldn’t get enough of each other. Brian believes he has finally found his muse. Myrna is very good at pleasing a man and doesn’t hold back despite her inner demons trying to chip away her self-confidence and self worth.

The two have amazing day and a half together, but Myrna quickly ends the fling without giving Brian any way to contact her. She fears emotional attachment with anyone after her first marriage ended disastrously.

A few weeks go by and Trey can no longer stand to see his best friend Brian so miserable. He gives him Myrna’s number that he researched and found on the web. Brian calls and finds they have missed each other terribly and they agree to see each other again.

In a last attempt to keep her job at the University, Myrna asks to tour with the band using her grant funding to research the behaviors of female band groupies. Not only will this help her career, she will be able to spend 3 months with Brian despite her misgivings about giving him more than just her body. The band agrees to let her tour with them as long as she keeps Brian happy. Happy Brian equals great new songs for The Sinners upcoming album.

As great as this situation may seem for everyone involved, their new relationship is continually tested while living on the tour bus. Myrna’s scary past comes back to haunt her and Brian’s familial issues with his “rock god” father come to light. Will they be able to stay together with all the crazy that ensues?

I loved this book from the second I started reading it.  Olivia Cunning’s writing style captured me and I could not put the book down.  This is a serious erotic novel and had me majorly blushing at most of the scenes, especially when it was more than Brian and Myrna involved.  However, no judgment here!

If I were to meet one of my favorite rock icons (Trent Reznor, Billy Corgan, Dave Grohl) in the flesh and have a shot with him, I would NOT say no.  Maybe Myrna can interview me for her groupie research!

My favorite scene in the book is very early on, but helped me be hooked.  Brian is so into Myr that he starts composing music in his head while they are “together”. He grabs a pen, continues where he left off and writes the notes he’s hearing all over her body so that he doesn’t forget them. HAWT!!

The banter between band members was hilarious. Strong attachments to the characters were formed while reading the first book Sinners on Tour series. I will continue reading on, just so I can stay on tour with the band for a little longer.

I was extremely delighted to find out The Sinners have their own website. You can view delicious band there. Thank you Olivia, thank you!

This erotic romance sang to a rock fan girl like myself!
