Feature and Follow, #20

"Feature and Follow Friday" is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read where they each feature a fellow blogger, and ask a question, to be answered by anyone who wants to participate. This week's question is:
 What is a book you didn't like that all your friends raved about or what book did you love that wasn't popular?

Can we say "loaded question" regarding the first half? So, since I've always said I'm honest and provide only honest reviews.... the book I didn't like though its completely "trendy" & people rave about  is "Fifty Shades of Grey". I'm not going to duck behind the couch or hide behind the wall, because everyone is entitled to their opinion (i.e. those that liked FSoG). I believe the concept of the story is good, however, it was extremely poorly executed.

As far as the second part of the question, that's a tough one to pin point as again, we all have opinions. I love J.R. Ward's "The Fallen Angels" series while some of my friends either like it or don't. I also really liked "The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley while some may not.
