Please welcome Author Lisa Kessler to
Audiobook Lovin'!!
Lisa is here today interviewing Skye & Colton from MAGNOLIA MYSTIC!
Author Lisa Kessler: Thanks for joining me today Skye and Colton! I’m busy finishing up book 4 in the Sentinels of Savannah series, so it’s been a while since I got to hang out with you two.
Colton: Aye. Much has happened since Magnolia Mystic.
Skye *nodding*: It’s been a wild ride for sure.
Lisa: So far you two are the first of the Sea Dog crew to sail in audio books. Was it cool to hear your story acted out by a narrator?
Skye: I thought she did an amazing job. Just the right touch of accents, and she even nailed the moments when Colton let his true pirate come through.
Colton *chuckles*: Aye, the lass did a fine job.
Lisa: Skye, can you tell the readers who haven’t tried the Sentinels of Savannah series what it’s like to discover there was a crew of immortal pirates living in Savannah, Georgia?
Skye *taking Colton’s big hand in hers*: It started off as a huge shock, and Colton waited to tell me until we were out sailing on the open ocean, so there was no where to run and process the information, that not only is the Holy Grail real, but Colton and his friends had been alive since they drank from it in the 1700s.
Colton *lifting their hands, he presses a kiss to the back of hers*: Sorry, love. Just couldn’t bear to lie to you any longer.
Skye: I’m glad you trusted me with the truth, but maybe trapping me on a ship wasn’t your best move.
Colton *eyes sparkling with mischief*: I have much better moves.
Skye *grins*: Aye. *clears her throat and looks at Lisa* Sorry. I got distracted.
Lisa:What’s next for the Sea Dog crew?
Skye: Well, you probably know better than me, but in Pirate’s Passion and Pirate’s Pleasure, we’ve added a couple more amazing women to the crew, Char and Harmony, and we recently helped Agent Bale recover Pandora’s Box after the relic was stolen, so we’ve been busy.
Lisa *glancing at each of them*: And how is married life?
Skye: Thank you for giving us the best wedding ever at the end of Pirate’s Pleasure!
Lisa: OMG I loved that entire epilogue! So glad you two approved! Having a pirate wedding at sea was definitely a blast for me to write.
Colton: We don’t get to dust off our pirate gear often. *leaning in* So which pirate is next for a happily ever after?
Lisa: Drake is taking the lead in Pirate’s Persuasion! And this time he’s going to need the crew to help him find the Flying Dutchman’s figurehead. It’s another wild Sentinels of Savannah adventure ahead with steamy kisses, life and death stakes, angry ghosts, and loves that span lifetimes. Can’t wait to finish it!
Lisa *clearing her throat and calming herself a notch* Thank you both for being here with me! I can’t wait for everyone to hear your adventure in audiobook.
