One of my all time favorite narrators is Julia Whelan and when she released her first book, My Oxford Year, I LOVED IT! So when Julia shared that she had an idea for this year's Audiobook Lovin' my answer was of course "What ever you want to do!".
Julia asked her friend and author Brittany Cavallaro to join her to discuss the link between women's fictions and romance and why it doesn't get the respect it deserves.

With Emily Henry, she is the author of Hello Girls (HarperCollins/Katherine Tegen Books). She is also the author of the poetry collections Girl-King and Unhistorical, both from University of Akron Press. A recipient of a National Endowment in the Arts fellowship, Cavallaro received her MFA in creative writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her PhD in English literature from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Currently, she teaches creative writing at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan.

Julia Whelan is an actor, writer, and audiobook narrator. She is perhaps best known for her acting work on ABC’s Once and Again and her award-winning narration of over 300 audiobooks (including Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl). She won the Audie for Best Female Narrator in 2019 for Tara Westover's Educated.
Her debut novel, My Oxford Year, was published in 2018 by HarperCollins/William Morrow.
After a healthy career as a child actor, Whelan attended Middlebury College and Oxford University, graduating with a degree in English and Creative Writing. She is also a certified Tea Sommelier.
