About Our Guest

Shakira Shute is a full time British audiobook narrator of over 50 titles, based in Vancouver Canada. She specialises in literary, historical, romance, fantasy and children’s fiction, as well as historical and political non-fiction. She has worked with  Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Macmillan Audio, Tantor Audio and Dreamscape Media, and has also narrated books in collaboration with Oxford University Press and MIT. 

Prior to becoming a narrator, Shakira was a qualified commercial litigation lawyer in London, England.
