About Our Guest
Maeve York is a classically trained actor and graduate of the University of Michigan Theatre program. She was a stage actress in New York City before combining her passion for performance with her love of literature. Maeve became a full time audiobook narrator in 2021 after coaching and training with some of the top professionals in the industry.
Maeve is know for her warm, smoky tones that lead her to narrate all genres of romance, from contemporary to dark, to taboo, to romcoms, while her skills at snark and sass allow her to bring badass fantasy heroines to life. She loves to perform broken or wounded women who rise from the ashes, women with lots of sauce and smarts, and dry, witty romcom leading ladies.
Maeve has performed over 100 titles from with many Indie Authors as well as publishers such as Dreamscape, Lyric Audio, Podium, Tantor and Pink Flamingo Productions to name a few.
When not recording, Maeve can be found near water or walking a trail. She loves to kayak, paddleboard and read on the beach. She loves to find new paths to walk every day. She also loves food and enjoys cooking and baking. She’s an art history buff but also finds herself immersed in Fantasy Football every fall and will always be a diehard Lions fan. She’s a avid traveler having been to 40 states and 11 countries. She loves dark chocolate and. bourbon. She loves big willow trees and fragrant flowers. She loves hot sun and a silent winter morning. And she has two big silver labradors as her sidekicks.
